An 18 inch Masport or Morrison mower relies on a right-hand cut blade to move grass the way the deck is designed for. Fitting the wrong orientation is a common mistake, and an easy one to avoid with the right part number.

This pack of two blades, pattern 529594, is right-hand cut for the 457mm cutting width on 18 inch Masport and Morrison models, at 97mm long and 44.5mm wide with a 13mm hole. Steel construction, built for the job.

Grass left looking torn rather than trimmed, or clippings that clump instead of scattering, usually points to a blade past its best. Swap the pair over with basic tools and the deck goes back to doing what it was designed to do.
