Description:
Sweet Basil is an excellent aromatic herb, perfect for seasoning soups, salads, and omelettes. The flavour is love-like and particularly complements tomatoes. This annual herb can grow up to 45cm (18 inches) tall and adds a delightful aroma and taste to culinary dishes.

Harvest Information:

Location: Prefers a well-drained, rich soil and a warm, sheltered position.
Sow: 5mm (1/4 inch) deep in cropping position.
Seedlings Emerge: 10-14 days.
Spacing: Allow 30cm (1ft) between plants.
Harvest: Pick leaves as required. 6-8 weeks from sowing.
Care: To promote bushy growth, pinch out the tip of the main stem.
