Forget-Me-Nots are the quiet achievers of the spring garden, a soft haze of deep blue that ties a bed together and makes everything around it look better. Blue Mist is an easy, reliable strain.

They are handy because they thrive in part shade, those cooler corners where a lot of flowers struggle. Sow the seed straight where it is to grow in friable soil, keep it moist, and give it time, as germination can take a few weeks.

Once in, they spread and fill the gaps, and they look especially good underplanted around primulas and pansies. They gently self-seed too, so you often get a return show the following year.
