This 15-pattern version uses an M6 left-hand thread, so it's worth confirming your torch's thread direction before you order. A left-hand and standard-thread holder aren't interchangeable even though they look near identical.

    Replace it if the threads have worn or the gas ports have clogged. A tired tip holder shows up as an arc that wanders or gas coverage that isn't consistent.
