Pulls hoop iron or perforated bracing strap up tight so a roof or wall brace actually does its job, instead of sitting slack across the frame.
These are Wilmaplex tensioners for strap bracing in timber framing. The tensioner is fixed to the timber with the strap run through it, and turning the bolt draws the strap taut, which gives you the right tension and keeps the line straight while you fix it off. Check your bracing plan or the engineer's details for where they go and how many you need.
There are 6 in the pack. Full specs are in the tabs below, and if you're working out what a frame needs, call us on (08) 8536 4333 or come in and chat with us at 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn.
