If the cistern keeps filling and trickling into the bowl long after a flush, a worn headseal in the inlet valve is a common cause, and on a Hush Flush valve this is the washer that fixes it.
The headseal is the small rubber seal in the top of the inlet valve that shuts the water off once the float reaches its level. Turn the water off at the stop tap, flush to empty the cistern, open up the valve head and swap the old washer for this one. It's a cheap part, and a running loo can waste a lot of water.
One washer on a card. If you're not sure which valve you've got, bring the old washer in to 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn or call us on (08) 8536 4333 and we'll help you match it.
