    The coarse one, for stripping old paint and varnish off timber or flattening out a rough board before you move to a finer grit.

    It's a 125mm hook and loop paper disc with 8 dust holes, so it presses straight onto a random orbital sander with an 8 hole pad and the dust can get pulled away from the sanding face. The abrasive is aluminium oxide on PFERD's E weight paper, and it's stearated, which helps stop paint and resin clogging the grit so the disc keeps cutting for longer.
