    A cracked radiator or a stripped thread does not always mean a new part. This steel-reinforced epoxy putty lets you patch metal fast, right where it sits. You knead it by hand, press it into the damage, and it sets in about a minute.

    Once it cures it behaves like the metal around it. You can drill it, tap a thread into it, file it back or paint over it, and it will not rust, shrink or pull away. It shrugs off water and temperature extremes, and stands up to fuels, oils and dilute acids, so it holds in the engine bay and under the sink alike.
