A cheap and cheerful 50mm brush for the jobs where you'd rather not wreck your good one, like the back of a gate or a quick coat on the shed door.

It's from Phoenix's Utility Series, with a plastic handle and synthetic bristles, and Phoenix say it suits all painting jobs and works with both acrylic and oil based paints. That makes it handy for primer, enamel or a bit of stain where you'd usually be scrubbing turps through a nice brush afterwards. At 50mm it's a good in-between size for trim, edges and touch-ups.
