Takes a branch off a 1 inch rural poly line and finishes it in a 1 inch female thread, so a tap or a ball valve screws straight into the side of the line.

It's a Philmac Rural tee with a compression end on each side of the run and a 1 inch BSP female thread on the branch. For each pipe end you cut the pipe square, slide the nut and grip ring on, tap the terracotta insert into the pipe and tighten the nut with a wrench. Wrap the male thread with thread tape before it goes into the branch. Rural fittings suit Rural B class poly, so check your pipe is rural size and not metric, as they're not the same.
