Takes a branch off a 25mm metric poly line and finishes it in a 3/4 inch female thread, so a tap or a valve screws straight into the side of the line.

It's from the Philmac 3G metric range, which comes pre-assembled, so you cut the pipe square, push it in until it hits the stop and tighten the nut. There's no chamfering or lube needed, and the parts are captive so nothing drops in the dirt while you're working in a trench. Wrap the male thread with thread tape before it goes into the branch. It suits metric PE pressure pipe, so check your pipe is 25mm metric and not rural size before you buy.
