Turns a 20mm underground conduit run through 90 degrees on a long, gentle radius, so the cable pulls through later without snagging.

It's a heavy duty orange PVC sweep bend for underground and in-slab electrical conduit, and it joins to the pipe with PVC conduit cement. The big radius is the point of it, because a tight elbow makes the pull much harder and can scuff the cable on the way through.
