The tungsten carbide percussion tip has a semi-positive profile that drills up to 25 percent faster than the budget option, and the rolled double spiral flute clears the dust as you go, so the bit runs cooler and lasts up to three times longer. The straight shank fits standard drills and rotary hammers.
