Sutton D188 Reduced Shank Drill Bit 15.0mm

Need to drill a big hole with a standard 13mm chuck? A reduced shank is the trick, and this Sutton D188 is built for it.

The 15.0mm cutting diameter steps down to a 12.5mm shank, so it fits a 13mm chuck and lets you bore bigger holes than the chuck would normally take. Run it slow, at 350 RPM or less, for large-scale boring in steel and other ferrous metals. It's made from M2 high speed steel with a 118 degree point, and the blue steam-oxide finish keeps chips from building up and cuts friction in low carbon steel.
