Quantity

A shorter square mouth shovel for shifting sand, soil and gravel, and for scraping out a trailer or a path, where a long handle gets in the way.

It's about 1020mm overall with a hardwood handle and a grip on top for a good hold, and the flat square blade scoops a full load and runs flush along a hard surface. The shorter length suits working in a trailer, a ute tray or a tight spot by the house. It's made for shifting rather than digging, so for hard ground, grab a round mouth shovel or a mattock first.

Sold each. Full specs are in the tabs below, and if you're not sure which shovel suits the job, call us on (08) 8536 4333 or come in and chat with us at 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn.
