Seasol isn't a fertiliser. It's a seaweed tonic that gets plants through the tough patches, heat, dry spells and the shock of being moved.

Mix around 40mL into a 9 litre watering can and it covers a few square metres. Reapply every 2 to 4 weeks, and it also helps your plants take up fertiliser better, so whatever else you're feeding works harder.

It's safe to use year round in any weather, which makes it one of the easiest things to keep on hand in the shed.
