A 300 metre spool of nylon monofilament line in 9lb breaking strain, enough to fill a reel with plenty left over for retying.

Monofilament like this has a bit of stretch built in, which helps absorb a sudden strike so a hook doesn't pull straight out, and it ties up easily compared to braid.

9lb sits in the light-to-medium range, suited to smaller estuary and jetty species where a heavier line would stand out in clear water.
