Kills the tree roots that have pushed into your sewer pipe, which is one of the common reasons a toilet starts gurgling or the sewer starts backing up.

Each tablet is copper sulphate, and you just drop one into the toilet and flush it through. To clear roots that are already in the pipe, the starting course is one tablet a week for 4 weeks. If the line is completely blocked it needs clearing first, because the tablets need water carrying them down to the roots. It's a poison, so keep the tablets in their pack, well out of reach of kids, and read the safety directions before you open it.
