The broad butt hinge features wider hinge leaves and a fixed pin which makes it ideal for providing added security to heavy duty doors. Ideal for entrance doors in residential or commercial premises.

The hinge sits in recess in the door timer and jamb. Mortise tool is required for installation of the hinge. Applying bearing lubrication in the pin enables the hinge to smoothly and quietly rotate.
