Green solvent cement for gluing PVC pressure pipe, the lines that carry water under pressure in irrigation, reticulation, pools and spas.

It's Plumma's Type P, a resin based cement for PVC-U pipe and fittings, and it sets slower than their blue glue, which gives you a bit more time to get the joint lined up. The green colour shows you've covered the whole joint. It's approved for contact with drinking water under AS/NZS 4020, and joints made to the AS/NZS 2032 jointing instructions are waterproof. Prime both surfaces before you glue.
