Clear solvent cement for gluing PVC drainage pipe and fittings on the non-pressure jobs like stormwater and sewer lines.

Plumma's Type N is made for PVC-U pipe up to 100mm across in non-pressure work only, so it's the wrong glue for a water line under pressure. Prime both surfaces, give the cement a good shake or stir before you brush it on, and don't use it if it's gone lumpy or jelly-like. It dries early in heat over 30 degrees or in the wind, so work quickly on a hot day. Joints made to the AS/NZS 2032 jointing instructions are waterproof.
