Once the heavy grinding is done, grit 80 is what smooths things out and gets the surface ready for a finish. This 100mm zirconia flap disc blends welds and rough spots into something closer to a clean surface.

It still grinds flatter than a solid wheel, thanks to the flap design, so you're smoothing rather than gouging at this stage. The fibreglass backing handles the pressure, and it works on steel and stainless steel.

Reach for this one after the coarse grit has done the heavy lifting, when the job's about blending and pre-finish rather than removal. Built for a 100mm angle grinder.
