On the bigger 125mm grinders, this grit 80 flap disc handles the blending stage, smoothing welds and rough patches after the coarse grinding is done. The larger diameter covers more surface in fewer passes.

It still grinds flatter than a solid wheel thanks to the flap design, so the result is smoother with less gouging. Fibreglass backing copes with the pressure, and it suits steel and stainless steel.

Keep it in the kit for the stage between heavy grinding and a finished surface. Built for a 125mm angle grinder.
