When there's a lot of metal to shift, weld seams to clear or heavy stock to grind back, grit 40 is the one to reach for. This 100mm zirconia flap disc bites hard and keeps cutting long after a cheaper disc has gone dull.

The flap design grinds flatter and smoother than a solid wheel, so you get less gouging while you're still removing plenty of material. It works on steel and stainless steel, and the fibreglass backing holds up to real grinding pressure without falling apart.

It's built for a 100mm angle grinder, so check your machine takes that size before you order.
