This utility brush is made for exactly that. The synthetic filament holds thick, sticky product without going limp, and the plastic handle stands up to solvents and water. At 25mm it gets into the narrow work, the cutting in and the small touch-ups where a wide brush is too much. It costs little enough that you will not be precious about it on the messy stuff.
