Fixes plasterboard to timber studs and noggings, with a ringed shank that grips the timber so the sheet doesn't work loose and pop the nail heads later.

These are Otter 40 x 2.8mm plasterboard nails with an annular ring shank and a zinc plated finish, made for indoor use. The large flat head is dished so it sits just below the face of the sheet without tearing the paper, which leaves a neat dimple to fill over with base coat. Drive them in until the head just dimples the surface, and stop there, because a broken paper face won't hold.
