An 8 gauge, 45mm chipboard screw for the deeper fixings shorter screws can't reach.

At 45mm, this is one of the longer options in the range, giving real depth of grip for joining thicker boards or fixing into solid timber framing behind a sheet. The countersunk, self-embedding head still pulls flush as it drives, and full thread the length of the screw keeps the hold consistent all the way in.

A number 2 Phillips drive means no special bits, and yellow zinc plating covers normal indoor conditions. Once you're driving screws this long, a bit of a pilot hole in dense timber saves the screw head and your patience.

Thirty screws to a blister pack, enough for a proper job of shelving or framing work.
