An 8 gauge, 32mm chipboard screw for fixings that need a bit more depth.

The extra length over the shorter 8 gauge screws gives more bite into thicker chipboard, MDF or timber, while the countersunk, self-embedding head still sits flush without a separate countersinking step. Full thread and a number 2 Phillips drive keep it consistent to run in with tools you already own.

Use these where 25mm doesn't quite reach, such as thicker shelving, cabinet carcasses or joining two decent-sized pieces of board. Yellow zinc plating is fine for indoor use, but keep them away from anything that gets wet regularly.

Thirty screws per blister pack, a solid amount for a mid-size job without leftovers going to waste in the drawer.
