Macsim Treated Pine Screws C3 Galvanised 8g x 28mm 30 Pack

The screw built to live outside. These Macsim treated pine screws hold fast in decking, fencing, posts and exterior timber, and the Class 3 galvanised coating keeps the rust off through season after season.

The Type 17 cutting point drives straight into treated pine without splitting the board, and the countersunk self-embedding head pulls down flush for a clean finish. A #2 Phillips drive runs them in with a standard bit, and the full thread grips hard.

Class 3 galvanising is made for general outdoor work. Keep in mind it isn't for within a couple of hundred metres of the ocean or around saltwater pools, where marine-grade stainless is the right call. At 8 gauge by 28 millimetres, they suit fixing decking trim, palings and lighter exterior timber.
