Large flange pop rivets for fixing into soft or thin material, where a standard head would pull through, like plastic, fibreglass, thin sheet or a worn hole.

These are Macsim AS5-4 blind rivets with an aluminium body, a steel mandrel and an oversized flange that spreads the load over more of the surface. By the standard rivet code, the 5 is a 5/32 inch (about 4mm) rivet and the 4 is a grip of up to 1/4 inch (about 6.4mm), so they suit two sheets that add up to about that thickness. You only need to get at one side of the job. Drill the hole, push the rivet through and pull it with a rivet gun until the mandrel snaps off.

There are 50 in the clam pack. Full specs are in the tabs below, and if you're not sure which rivet suits your job, call us on (08) 8536 4333 or come in and chat with us at 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn.
