A galvanised cup head bolt and nut that locks into the timber and holds your frame tight, rain or shine.

When you are bolting a frame together and you need the fixing to stay put, a cup head bolt earns its keep. The square neck under the domed head bites into the timber as you tighten, so the bolt does not spin while you do up the nut on the other side. This Macsim bolt is 12mm thick and 90mm long, and it comes with its nut ready to go.

It is built for the jobs that carry weight. Think post supports and timber or metal framing, where a light fixing will not hold. The galvanised finish is the part that matters outdoors. It holds off rust through a wet Strathalbyn winter, so the joint stays tight for the long haul instead of seizing up or weeping rust down the post.
