For flatpack repairs, shelving and general chipboard work, this 10g x 50mm screw is the one to grab.

The head is countersunk and self embedding, so it beds down flush without pre-countersinking or fighting a proud screw. Full thread runs the length of the shank for solid grip through chipboard and timber, and the yellow zinc finish keeps them looking clean and rust-free indoors and under cover.

Each pack holds 20, driven with a standard number 2 Phillips bit you've probably already got in the kit. They're built for general chipboard and timber fixing, not treated outdoor timber, so if the job's outside or in ground contact grab the Class 3 galvanised range instead.

Solid Macsim gear we stock because it holds up on the jobs we use it for ourselves. Full specs are in the tabs below.
