A long 1/2 inch cup head bolt with its nut, for bolting through thick timber like a post and rail, where the round head sits smooth on the face and can't be undone from that side.
The square neck under the dome bites into the timber as you do the nut up, so the bolt won't spin. It's Bremick's grade 2 mild steel with an imperial thread and a longer thread length, and it's zinc plated, which suits indoor and sheltered jobs, so go galvanised for anything out in the weather or in treated pine.
Sold each, with the nut. Full specs are in the tabs below, and if you're matching an old bolt, bring it in to 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn or call us on (08) 8536 4333.
