Liquid chlorine that gets to work in the pool straight away, and it's the one to grab when the water's turning cloudy or green.

It's sodium hypochlorite at 130g/L available chlorine, and it's non-stabilised, so it won't add any cyanuric acid to the water. Its high chlorine level makes it good for knocking out chloramines, which is where that strong pool smell comes from. Pour it in slowly around the edge with the pump running, dose it to the label for your pool size, and never mix it with other pool chemicals. Keep the bottle out of the sun, because liquid chlorine loses strength in the heat.
