Some mowers and small engines are fussy about their oil, and this straight SAE 30 monograde is what a lot of them ask for. It's the grade Briggs and Stratton spec for four-stroke engines, so you're not left guessing which bottle to grab.

The detergent additives help keep the inside of the engine clean, and it guards against wear and corrosion through a full mowing season. It starts up easily even on a cool morning, which matters when you're trying to get the lawn done before it heats up.
