    Puts a blue hammered finish straight onto metal, so an old gate or a toolbox ends up looking like it was meant to be that way.

    Hammerite's hammered finish dries to a dimpled pattern that hides small dents and patchy spots a smooth gloss would show up. It's a solvent based metal paint, so clean the metal first, wire brush off any loose rust and flaking paint, and let it dry before you start. Put it on in even coats rather than one thick one, and check the tin for drying times and brush clean up.
