A clear water based gloss for interior timber that keeps pale timber looking pale, in a 500ml tin.

Aqualac Clear is the Haymes Woodcare water based option in place of an oil based varnish. Haymes make it non-yellowing, so it suits light coloured timbers, and it's low odour and quick drying, so 2 coats in a day is doable. Use it on doors, furniture, panelling, skirtings, architraves and trims, in solid timber, MDF, plywood or veneer. Sand new timber smooth with 240 grit along the grain, and don't use steel wool. Haymes recommend at least 3 coats on new bare timber and 2 over an existing clear finish, with a light sand between. If you're staining first, give the Woodcare Wood Stain 24 hours before the Aqualac goes on. It washes up in water.

This one's in store only. We don't ship paint, so pop in to 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn or call (08) 8536 4333 and we'll have it ready for you.
