    A water based deck and timber stain in the tint base, so your deck, fence or outdoor setting can go the timber colour you're after.

    Dexpress is the Haymes Woodcare deck and timber stain. It's for hardwood and softwood outside, including merbau and treated pine, and Haymes say it's mould and UV resistant and lasts 3 times longer than a traditional decking oil. This is the Stain Tint base, which is mixed and tinted in store to the Woodcare colour you choose, so it isn't used straight from the tin. Haymes say a colour close to your timber's own colour lasts longest. Prep makes the job, so clean the timber with the Haymes Woodcare cleaner first and let it dry, then put on 2 coats with a brush or a deck applicator, 3 or 4 boards at a time, and a third coat where it cops a lot of sun or foot traffic. Don't put it on in direct sun or with rain coming in the next 48 hours.

    Tinted colours are mixed to order, so they can't be returned for a change of mind. If something's not right, bring it back within 14 days with your receipt and we'll sort it out. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
