    Seals in old stains on interior walls and ceilings so they don't bleed back through your new paint.

    Ultrahold is the Haymes Ultra Premium undercoat made for stains like water marks, smoke and fire damage, nicotine, grease, rust and tannin bleed, plus mould marks once the mould itself has been treated and cleaned off. Wash the surface down and let it dry, then one coat usually does it, though Haymes say some stains need a second. It's touch dry in about 15 minutes and ready to recoat in an hour, and you can go over it with water-based or oil-based paint. It's white, covers up to 16 square metres a litre, and cleans up with methylated spirits, not water. It's for inside only, and keep the room aired while you work.
