    One water based undercoat that primes and seals as well, and sticks to just about anything in the house, old gloss enamel included, in a 10 litre pail.

    Ultracover is the Haymes Ultra Premium all-rounder for inside and out. It goes on plasterboard, timber, MDF, masonry, Colorbond, galvanised iron, aluminium and laminate, and over old water-based or oil-based paint, and on most surfaces you won't need to sand. It also seals everyday stains like marker, pencil, water, smoke and tannin, and Haymes say to let it dry overnight before topcoating over a stain, with Ultralock or Ultrahold for the really bad ones. It's touch dry in about 20 minutes, ready to recoat in 2 hours, covers up to 16 square metres a litre, and washes up in water. You can go over it with water-based or oil-based paint.
