    A trowel is only as good as what's feeding it, and that's the hawk's job.

    This 300 x 300mm hawk holds a workable load of render or finishing plaster at the angle you need, so you can scoop off the trowel edge and keep working the wall instead of bending back to a board every couple of strokes. The flat 300mm plate is the standard size for most day-to-day plastering and rendering.

    Held at a slight tilt in your off hand, it keeps material close and controlled while your trowel hand does the finishing work.
