Ground engaging gear cops the kind of wear that eats through ordinary steel fast.

Promax 700 is a hardfacing electrode built to rebuild and toughen up parts that take a hammering from dirt, rock and grit, think post hole augers, cultivator and grader blades, plough shares and tynes.

The weld deposit runs around 53 to 56 HRC, hard enough to resist abrasion but tough enough to flex without cracking on parts that cop fatigue or knocks in service, which matters on gear that gets jarred around all day.

At 3.2mm and 1kg, it's sized for general hardfacing runs on ag and earthmoving gear.

Full specs are in the tabs below. Bring in the part and we'll help you pick the right rod for the wear you're seeing.
