Some parts don't just wear, they grind themselves away.

Platinum 943 is Weldclass's premium hardfacing electrode for gear facing extreme sliding abrasion, the kind of wear you see on parts constantly dragging through dirt, sand or rock.

The deposit lays down hard chromium-niobium carbides at around 60 to 65 HRC on the first layer, giving it both serious abrasion resistance and enough impact strength to handle moderate to heavy knocks without chipping out.

At 3.2mm and 1kg, it's sized for a full hardfacing repair job.

Full specs are in the tabs below. Bring in the worn part and we'll help you match the rod to the wear pattern.
