Smooths out the scratches a coarse disc leaves behind and blends welds on an angle grinder, and the fibre backing flexes so it follows a curve or a rounded edge instead of digging a flat spot into it.

It's a 125mm aluminium oxide disc on vulcanised fibre with a 22mm hole, made to ISO 16057. At 80 grit it's the step after a 60, still cutting well but leaving a finer surface ready for paint or a finer disc. It suits steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass and copper.

A fibre disc needs a backing pad on the grinder, and it isn't included. Don't run it over 12,200 rpm. Full specs are in the tabs below, or call us on (08) 8536 4333 and we'll talk you through which grit to use next.
