    Takes down welds, rust and mill scale on an angle grinder, and because the fibre backing flexes it follows a curve or a rounded edge instead of digging a flat spot into it.

    It's a 125mm aluminium oxide disc on vulcanised fibre with a 22mm hole, made to ISO 16057. At 60 grit it's a middle-of-the-road grit, coarse enough to remove metal quickly and fine enough to leave a surface you can step down from. It suits steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass and copper.

    A fibre disc needs a backing pad on the grinder, and it isn't included. Don't run it over 12,200 rpm. Full specs are in the tabs below, or call us on (08) 8536 4333 and we'll talk you through which grit to start with.
