This sinker does two jobs at once, holding the bottom and feeding berley straight down to your hooks.

The lead body on this Neptune Tackle sinker anchors your rig the same as a standard sinker would, while the wire spring built into it carries berley down to exactly where your bait is sitting rather than spreading wide across the drift. Re-pack the spring each cast to keep the scent trail going, and top up the lead sinker's job of holding the bottom while it does it. At 28g it suits beach and estuary work on a running or paternoster rig.
