Hex head roofing screws that drill their own hole through steel purlins up to 12mm thick, for fixing roof sheets and cladding onto steel framing.

The No. 5 extended drill point gets right through the steel before the thread starts to bite, which is what you want on heavier purlins, and the fine 24 thread holds well in steel. Under the hex washer face head there's a neoprene washer that squashes down on the sheet and seals the hole against rain. They're Class 4 galvanised and drive with a hex socket. Drive them square and stop once the washer is snug, because overdriving splits the seal.

There are 50 in the pack. Full specs are in the tabs below, and if you're not sure which length suits your sheet profile, call us on (08) 8536 4333 or come in and chat with us at 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn.
