Turns a 1/2 inch threaded line through 90 degrees, with a female thread on both ends so two male fittings screw straight in.

Philmac make it in Australia from UV resistant polypropylene with tapered BSP threads, so it won't rust in a wet pit, out on a tank or up against a pump. Philmac say the 1/2 inch BSP threaded fittings aren't AS/NZS 4020 approved for drinking water, so this one suits irrigation and stock water lines. Use thread tape or a sealant made for plastic on the male threads going in.
