Joins 25mm metric poly pipe to a 3/4 inch male thread, like a tap, a pump outlet or a tank fitting, and it goes together by hand with no glue, no heat and no barbs to fight.

It's from the Philmac 3G metric range, which comes pre-assembled, so you slide the pipe in until it hits the stop and tighten the nut. The other end is a 3/4 inch BSP female thread, so wrap the male thread you're screwing in with thread tape. There's no chamfering or lube needed and the parts are captive, so nothing drops in the dirt while you're working in a trench. It suits metric PE pressure pipe, so check your pipe is 25mm metric and not rural or imperial size, as they're not the same.
