Sutton XP Bullet Jobber Drill Bit 17/64in (6.8mm) HSS

Line up your mark, squeeze the trigger, and this Sutton bit bites in right where you put it. The split point does the hard part for you, so the hole starts clean instead of skating off across the steel.

It's high speed steel with a bright finish, ground to drill steel, aluminium, timber and plastic without swapping bits halfway through a job. The deep parabolic flute pulls the swarf up and out fast, which keeps the tip cooler and the cutting edge sharper for a lot longer than the budget bits that go blunt after a handful of holes.

This is the 17/64in (6.8mm) size, sold as a carded single so you replace just the one you've worn out rather than buying a whole set again. It also needs less push than a standard bit, which is easier on a cordless drill's battery.
